Enduring Materials can include
Online Presentations, CDs/DVDs, USB Memory Devices, and other media designed to provide post-event experiences to those not attending live events. They are a great tool to broaden the content and messages to a world-wide audience. EMs also serve to educate in CME forums and in general training.
Make sure you plan the Enduring Material concurrently with your live event. Get buy-in from your
Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) so that the live event and the EM are seamlessly integrated with post-event distribution, feedback from end-users, and ways to improve future EMs.
Create a mix of Enduring Materials like Websites and CDs/DVDs. Allow end-users to choose how they want to interact with the material.
Measure
Effectiveness and Usage through online analytics and disc-trends software.
Don't over-edit the original content; create a faithful reproduction of the live event presentations.
